Dan Burisch, born Danny B. Crain in Los Angeles, graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a psychology degree in 1986.1 He later said the U.S. Navy funded a secret PhD in microbiology at SUNY Stony Brook, but the university found no record of his enrollment and his 2002 bankruptcy filing showed outstanding student loans, not a completed doctorate.2
Alleged service at S-4
Burisch claims Majestic-12 posted him to the S-4 complex near Area 51 from 1986 to 2004. There he supposedly worked on Project Aquarius, cared for a sick human-Gray hybrid nicknamed J-Rod, and researched a "Lotus" organism to reverse alien genetic damage.345 He also describes operating "Looking Glass" devices that displayed branching future timelines and warned of catastrophes, prompting efforts to close stargates on Earth.3
Public exposure
Videographer Bill Hamilton recorded Burisch in lengthy interviews from 2002 to 2004. Portions aired on Linda Moulton Howe's Coast to Coast AM segments and later appeared in Project Camelot videos, cementing his popularity among conspiracy audiences.26 Supporters maintain websites such as Eagles Disobey that archive his affidavits and transcripts.5
Investigations and criticism
Reporters have been unable to verify Burisch's claimed credentials or service history. George Knapp's KLAS-TV investigation found employment records showing him as a Las Vegas parole officer in the early 1990s and no military service. A 2002 Chapter 7 bankruptcy listed him as a homemaker with no government income, contradicting his narrative.23
Snapshot of claims and evidence
Despite the skepticism, Burisch continues to grant interviews, such as a Psicoactivo podcast appearance in June 2025, and sells new editions of his 1998 book Eagles Disobey: The Case for Inca City, Mars.3
