UAP Hearing Notice, Opening Statement, and Hearing-Day Materials

House Oversight announced the Sept. 9, 2025 hearing titled “Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection,” and set a witness list, date, time, and location before the hearing day.¹

On hearing day, Chairwoman Anna Paulina Luna delivered official opening remarks opening the hearing and framing the inquiry around transparency, national security, and whistleblowing.²

The hearing page then posted written materials for all five listed witnesses through individual PDF documents, providing the record for the public hearing docket.³⁴⁵⁶⁷⁸
