The Sky Canada Project final report is the Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada's June 2025 public report on managing civilian unidentified aerial phenomena reporting in Canada, linked from ISED's Sky Canada Project page and catalogued by Government of Canada Publications.123
The project reviewed Canada's UAP reporting landscape rather than investigating individual sightings. Its stated boundaries excluded collecting first-hand sighting data, making the OCSA Canada's main reporting contact, or proving or disproving extraterrestrial visitors.124
The report matters because it documents Canada's official contemporary review of UAP reporting and public-science recommendations. It found fragmented reporting across government and non-government channels, estimated 600 to 1,000 Canadian UAP reports annually, and described a 2024 survey in which one in four respondents said they had witnessed a UAP while many did not know where to report one.25
Its recommendations point toward a lead federal entity, a dedicated public reporting service, stronger civil-aviation reporting, public communication, open access to UAP data, citizen-science tools, and international information sharing with organizations such as AARO, NASA, GEIPAN, and SEFAA.2
The report also places Sky Canada in a longer Canadian record. It summarizes Project Magnet, Project Second Storey, the National Research Council's 1967-1995 public UFO reporting role, and the transfer of related records to Library and Archives Canada.2678
