The 2004 USS Nimitz group recorded a white oval object performing instant accelerations. Later East Coast pilots captured the Gimbal and GoFast videos showing similar behavior.

  Policy changes

These encounters spurred new reporting procedures and eventually the creation of the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force. Declassified videos renewed public debate over advanced aerial threats. ¹²³⁴⁵
