Led by physics professor Harley Rutledge, the team documented unexplained aerial lights with cameras, magnetometers, and spectrographs. Observations sometimes showed structured objects moving silently.

  Findings and debate

Rutledge concluded the lights represented controlled craft of unknown origin. Skeptics argued the data could be misinterpreted atmospheric phenomena. ¹²³⁴⁵
