Disclosure Rating — 5/10

DOW-UAP-PR123, Unresolved UAP Report, Pacific Ocean, 2019 is a Department of War video published in PURSUE Release 05 on August 7, 2026. DVIDS lists the location as the Pacific Ocean, the date taken as January 1, 2019, and the length as one minute and four seconds.123

  Provenance and Limitations

The Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Task Force transferred the media to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office in 2022. The footage is a hand-held recording of an infrared sensor display rather than native primary sensor data, so filming artifacts such as blurring or flickering may be present. The official description states that the media was digitally altered before it was reported to AARO and is presented as received.23

  What the Video Shows

The official description says an area of contrast is visible near the center from 00:00 to 00:03, loses distinctiveness from 00:04 to 00:07, then reappears as the sensor pans and zooms from 00:08 to 00:25. From 00:25 to 01:04, the area remains generally centered in the sensor field of view.234

  What the Record Supports

The DVIDS description is informational and does not constitute an analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination about the event's validity, nature, or significance. The public record documents the recording method and described sequence; it does not identify the area of contrast.23
