DOW-UAP-PR118, Unresolved UAP Report, Gulf of Oman, 2021 is a Department of War video published on August 7, 2026, and included in PURSUE Release 05. DVIDS lists September 8, 2021, as the date taken and the Gulf of Oman as the location.1234

  Provenance and Recording

United States Central Command submitted a report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office consisting of 30 seconds of video footage. The footage is a secondary capture, recorded with a cellular device, of an infrared sensor display aboard a U.S. Special Operations Forces AC-130J gunship. It is not native primary sensor data, and the official description warns that the recording method limits fidelity, resolution, and overall visual quality.23

AARO states that the footage in DOW-UAP-PR117 through DOW-UAP-PR122 was captured contemporaneously. The accompanying Intelligence Information Report, DOW-UAP-D101, describes the reported phenomena as "cold orbs" approximately four feet in diameter.23

  Sensor Observation

The official video description says an area of contrast remains generally near the center of the sensor field of view and momentarily exits the bottom of the frame. AARO states that this description is informational and should not be interpreted as an analytical judgment, investigative conclusion, or factual determination about the event's validity, nature, or significance.23

  What the Record Supports

The record documents a 30-second secondary recording associated with an AC-130J infrared display and catalogued as DOW-UAP-PR118. The secondary-recording limitations and AARO's express caveat constrain stronger conclusions about the reported phenomenon.234
