DOW-UAP-PR112 is a Department of War record concerning a 2019 unresolved UAP sighting in the eastern United States. The Department declassified and released the document for the first time as part of PURSUE Release 04 on July 10, 2026. 1234

  Provenance and Description

The United States Navy submitted this report to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO). It consists of 20 seconds of infrared video recorded from a sensor aboard a civilian aircraft in 2019. An accompanying Range Fouler Debrief, DOW-UAP-D090, quotes the observer describing flight characteristics "unlike anything [the observer] had seen in 28 years [of service] for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy." The debrief describes the object as "small" and "travelling in a straight line [in the] opposite direction at high speed."34

The agency's video description breaks the footage into three segments:34

  • 00:01-00:11: An area of contrast is visible near the center of the screen.
  • 00:12-00:14: The sensor changes its zoom level and display mode, flashing white before returning to normal function. The area of contrast exits the sensor's field of view to the left side of the frame.
  • 00:15-00:20: The sensor changes settings, causing the screen to flash white. No content is visible.

  What the Record Supports

The video shows a brief infrared track of a small, fast-moving object before sensor changes obscure the frame. The case remains unresolved: AARO's release does not identify the object or rule out conventional explanations.34
