PURSUE Row 20 and NASA Tape T-00763
The Department of War's May 8, 2026 PURSUE Release 01 metadata lists this NASA PDF as data row 20, or CSV line 21 when the header is counted, with an incident date of December 5, 1965 in low Earth orbit.1 The scanned record is a NASA Public Affairs Office release-commentary excerpt for the Gemini VII flight, marked tape No. T-00763(R1B).2
Borman's Ten O'Clock Bogey Report
The excerpt centers on Frank Borman reporting a "bogey at ten o'clock high" to Houston, followed by exchanges that separate the sighting from two other objects in view: the Gemini booster and a field of small particles or debris.2 The typed page and handwritten notes preserve the same framing, including Houston's questions about whether the object was the booster and Jim Lovell's description of the booster as a bright body against a dark background.2
The Matching Audio Row
The next CSV data row, row 21, is the paired audio record for the same December 5, 1965 Gemini VII exchange, identified by DVIDS video ID 1006119.3 Read together, the PDF and audio row show that the release is preserving both a transcript guide and the source communications excerpt, not resolving the sighting beyond the contemporary NASA terms used in the exchange.
