Before releasing the full Condon Report, the University of Colorado team issued an internal update on their investigations. The document listed ongoing case studies and outlined research methods.¹²³⁴⁵

Although little known outside official circles at the time, it highlighted a systematic approach that later informed the 1968 final report.
