Each entry is organized by fiscal year, subject, original request description, FOIA case number, and released file links.[^1]\n\nThe corpus preserves request-level context beside the released records. Examples include a 2023 AARO case inventory current as of December 6, 2022, prepublication-security-review material involving the AARO self-reporting mechanism, organizational charts, FVEY and Space Command correspondence, and communications involving David Grusch.[^1][^3][^4]\n\nRead it as an AARO-specific response archive, not a complete U.S. Government UAP repository. AARO explicitly says the collection is not an exhaustive reference for UAP record requests across the government, while OSD/JS maintains a broader FOIA reading room and a separate UFOs and UAPs category, and NARA maintains a statutory UAP Records Collection.[^1][^5][^6][^7]\n\nLimitations matter: AARO says request descriptions are shown as originally submitted without AARO comments, edits, or redactions, and FOIA.gov explains agencies review records before release and may withhold protected portions under FOIA exemptions. The OSD/JS requester center also limits its scope to OSD, Joint Staff, and specified defense components rather than the entire Department of Defense.[^1][^8][^9]\n\n## References\n\n[^1]: [AARO EFOIA Reading Room, All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office](https://www.aaro.mil/EFOIA-Reading-Room/)\n\n[^2]: [What is FOIA?, FOIA.gov](https://www.foia.gov/about.html)\n\n[^3]: [AARO case inventory, FOIA 23-F-0204 PDF](https://www.aaro.mil/Portals/136/PDFs/FOIA/2023%20FOIAs/23-F-0204.pdf)\n\n[^4]: [AARO self-reporting mechanism security-review release, FOIA 25-F-3452_2 PDF](https://www.aaro.mil/Portals/136/PDFs/FOIA/2025%20FOIAs/25-F-3452_2.pdf)\n\n[^5]: [OSD/JS FOIA Reading Room, Washington Headquarters Services](https://www.esd.whs.mil/FOID/Reading-Room/)\n\n[^6]: [OSD/JS UFOs and UAPs FOIA Reading Room category, Washington Headquarters Services](https://www.esd.whs.mil/FOIA/Reading-Room/Reading-Room-List_2/UFOsandUAPs/)\n\n[^7]: [Records Related to UFOs and UAPs at the National Archives](https://www.archives.gov/research/topics/uaps)\n\n[^8]: [FOIA frequently asked questions, FOIA.gov](https://www.foia.gov/faq.html)\n\n[^9]: [OSD/JS FOIA Requester Service Center, Washington Headquarters Services](https://www.esd.whs.mil/FOID/)","readingTime":"2 min read"},"relatedRecords":[],"citation":{"canonicalUrl":"https://disclosdex.com/links/aaro-efoia-reading-room","title":"AARO EFOIA Reading Room","publisher":"Disclosdex","retrievedFrom":"https://disclosdex.com/api/v1/links/aaro-efoia-reading-room","license":"CC-BY-4.0"},"url_external":"https://www.aaro.mil/EFOIA-Reading-Room/"}
